Fifth Wheeler Upgrade

We are looking at taking off as grey nomads within 12months. We believe we will travel for at least 2 years. We currently own a 7.3m caravan and we are interested in upgrading to a fifth wheeler. We have so many questions so we are hoping to get some information regarding the "playmor" range and in particular "king of the road " model which is approximate 32 ft. Is there anyone out there who own this model or know how good it is.

Is it an Aussie made or imported.

If imported read the thread from a while ago about imported caravans.

Not all are good as there are two grades "Trailer Park" and Touring types.

Also need to be VERY CAREFUL they are fully Aussie compliant.

What are you going to tow it with.

And what is the ATM of each one

Had a look at the website They look pretty nice but a full rig would be about $250,000 I guess.

Would certainly be better than some of the imports I have seen with shonky L/H doors that dont open etc

Seems you would need a Ram or similar to tow it with.

Saw one a few weeks ago going like the clappers with a big 5th on the back.

I could nearly run on his exhaust smoke LOL

Here in my home town the local caravan dealer is a WA agent for a line of fifth wheelers and he gets them in and modifies to suit aussie conditions . If You care to message me i will return the link. I believe i am not allowed to insert commercial links in here.. He has also, i believe, sold some outside the state.

Ahhh if i only had the money!!

Thank you for your kind offer. Not sure how we get the info from you to check out the wa dealer as we are not members.
