I know this place has a dodgy name (!) but does anyone know the whereabouts of this hut (known as Beaver Lodge) in the Woomargama National Park near Holbrook NSW. It's not on any maps that I can find....

Apparently it's available to stay in and I'm heading down that way soon and would like to use it as a base. Anyone know if there's a caretaker?

Thanks
Michael O

Beaver Lodge is located on the north side of Tin Mines Trail in the Woomargama NP. Tin Mines Road (don't know why the name change) runs from the Dora Dora/Woomargama road through the NP to Lankeys Creek on the eastern side of the NP. I would contact the tourism office in Albury for more info.

Look at 35 51 S and 147 28 E for the locality called Tin Mines in the Woomargama NP.

I got this info off the topo Zone 55 map in Oziexplorer

At least its a start for you. If you want an alternative then I suggest the small camping area near the Murray in Jingellic.

Have a look at this link and note the pronunciation of the name.
