hey all
my last thread was getting a bit mix and match, so i thought id start a fresh clear topic.
diesel chips for the 3.0Litre turbo hilux's (around 2002) are said to make a big improvement
has anyone out there had any experience with one in a hilux? or is there anything i should be aware of if i purchase one?

chipped a rodeo and a peugeot would not run a diesel without chipping them.

Hi mate - Just sold my 2003 hilux with a safari chip in it. They are great.
It in combination with an exhaust that add to the breathing makes a huge difference. Feels like you have an extra gear. Tested
mine on a dyno before and after - the power increased by nearly 30%.
The safari chips have a reading that cuts the fuel when the exhaust gasses are getting too warm. Great chip.
My Dual cab Hilux will have one soon...
