Hi there just got the hema navigator 5' DO I NEAD TO BYE MAPS FOR IT & what ones Thanks Dale

Dale, Who did you buy it from? and where? All the maps should be on the sysytem. Turn it on and try it, there should at least be a 'city navigator' type map.

For the most part you won't need any maps. The Hema Maps and the NATMAP 1:250K are preloaded as is Route 66 street directory. You can of course load as many different maps as you think necessary....ie 1:25K topo, 1:50K topo etc etc. If you wish to use Memory Map (also preloaded) you may need to buy some maps for that as
well.

Hi Dale
Like the others have stated above, it should be just a matter of attaching it to your windscreen, plugging in the power,turning the unit on and selecting what navigation you want to uses and away you go.
The only option that I have purchased was the sun shield.
They are a great unit and I use
mine in 100% OziExplorer.
