(1) Took 20 mins a side to fit
(2) They work like a dream
(3) How much did they cost - Thats between me and the supplier
(4) How hard was it to fit them - if you have to ask that question then don't DIY.
(5) One person job, however 2 people make it a bit easier when swapping the actual mirrors
(6) Where do you get them - from your closest Clearview Supplier
(7) The instructions that came with them were extremely comprehensive.
(8) Do I think these type of mirrors are for you - I have no idea what so ever
(9) If YOU think these mirrors are for you, then buy a set and try them out
(10) Anything else you want to known, either search the Clearview web site or ring them.

Did the Jeep get traded for the 200??

Kev

Nup! the old Bluebird Station Wagon that I had for Thirty Years went to Heaven, and I needed something else to carry the dog around in the style to which she was accustomed. (LOL)

How did you know that Bonz had a hand in those pics.

I have seen Bonz taking photos before.

That dog does know quality as it loved being in Darkie when in Romsey getting transformed :)

If you go to my Blog:

GB in a BT

and scroll down the page you will see some of my photos of the Clearview mirrors, and some blurb.

$745 a pair plus postage for the Chromies from the manufacturer. Expensive but hey, the original Toyota mirrors are $405 EACH to replace.

If Dust Devil got a better price, good upon him.

I'm happy with them (very happy as a matter of fact).

cheers

Yeah, they are about $60 or $70 cheaper for a 100 Series Cruiser.

We 200 Series owners must be considered easy targets.

Nevertheless, I'm glad I bought them.

cheers

Guess what?

I didn't get any of the usual IDIOT FOLLOWUP questions that the W'rs (as you so eloquently put it) always want to rabbit on about, instead of putting their computer & phone skills to far better use, by indulging in a tad of self research on the subject at hand, before making comments or asking questions on the forum.

Just for your info - I used to be a MEMBER of EX-OX many years ago and left due to the incessant questions such as, What tyres do I need and/or are best for my rig, What vehicle should I by, Comments please ( I just luv that one), What did you pay for it, Where did you get, Should I have one of these, Which is the best car fridge, How do I increase my GVM and not decrease my GCVM, I have a noise in my engine somewhere-what is it etc etc etc.

I firmly believe that if anyone can manage to sign on to a computer, enter the Web, find the Url for EX-OZ, select the forum and the start asking questions and making comments, then they can research their problem on the Web FIRST, then elsewhere, and ask a specific informed question and/or make an informed comment.

Also, seeing how effective the above method I used was, I do believe I'll be using it more often.

Now you have a good weekend, or whats left of it.

Haha-this is the best post for a while.

a question though on point (5)-was it a struggle to find a 2nd person?

"Can you give me a hand please cobba"
"Sure mate what do ya want to do?"
"Mind you own business and flipping hurry up"
"Get flipped..."
"Didnt need you anyway DH"

thanks DD-intended for a smile not an insult!

Fisho

I am still ROFLMO re your original reply. Dude that was funny.

Anyway you weren't too far off the mark as it SWMBO that was my 2nd pair of hands and thats pretty much how the conversation went. Almost verbatim.

These mirrors are a cinch to install and a 2nd pair of hands that know what their doing is just a bonus.

It was Fisho who got moderated not me. (ROFLMAO x 1000)

Also anything else you need/want to know is a phone call away from the manufacturer.

Go on, ring them - I dare you.
