Hi Warren
I run a Nuvi 660, with CN 2011, Shonky and T4A Pro, and Contours Aust.
You can buy a $10 dvd with Shonky and Contour Aust and a lot of other goodies from
here.
With Contour Aust, it is an overlay, that gives you the contour lines over CN 2011. Shonky has maps with contours as
well.
A good site for Nuvi owners is
Nuvi Tips and Tricks

Hi
I have just checked out the link to the dvd, as I haven't used it for a while, it's now 2 x dvd and the cost is $15.
Cheers

Have just been looking at Garmin Topo again in Mapsource.
A road is marked as going to the top of
Bogong, and other tracks in the area are marked as roads. Lesser but still significant peaks in the area aren't marked.
Thredbo village isn't marked. I could go on.
And IIRC autorouting doesn't work on tracks.
It's a pity HEMA maps are raster rather than vector which is what Garmin requires. If I were starting over and serious about good topo maps I'd opt for the HEMA Navigator.

Hi
One thought, if you want to run vector and raster, you could do what I did, run the Nuvi with vector maps as a street navigator, and run a cheap generic Chinese unit (under $100 from Deal Extreme), and run Ozi Exp CE on it, along side, with your raster maps (Hema, Westprint, Spatial Vison & Meridian etc.). You then have the best of both worlds.
