I have had a Waeco fridge in a Waeco transit protection bag now for some time. It's one of the earlier model fridges that doesn't have a digital temperature display just the 7 lights from cold to freeze.
Anyway I bought myself one of the Waeco dual zone thermometers recently at the show. I wanted to attach the thermometer display unit to the outside end of the of the fridge on the transit bag but I can't seem to find anything that will keep it attached. I've tried a few different brands of double sided tape but due to the rubberised type of material nothing seems to stick for more than 10 mins or so before it drops off.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to attach the thermometer display unit to the end of the transit bag?
Cheers

Gday,
Try sewing a bit of velcro onto the bag and glueing the other bit to the thermometer.

Thanks Hairy,
Seems so logical & easy!
Why didn't I think of that?

I've got one of those and the Velcro can be a bit iffy. I use a cable tie around the body and put 2 small holes in the transit bag. Just make sure that when you mount you can still use the handles without snagging the display. I also ended up mounting the temp sensor on the divider between the fridge section and the dairy section. It reads quite well there and keeps it out of any spillage or water in the bottom of the fridge.

Cheers

I use 3m "dual lock".
Stick 1 piece to waeco cover and the other to guage.
