Hi,, i am thinking of doing this trek tomorrow, is the track ok to do in a standard prado and is there anything i need to know about the trek other than taking the appropriate recovery gear and comms. comments will be helpful thanks.

You should be fine if you let the tyres down a bit, The beach is very soft around there , not good if your on your own. The tracks are all good fun , you might want to use a flag on a long pole as some of the hills are steep and you may get cars coming the other way, go for it

desray is right, most of the track are easy going but if you head onto the beach make sure you have lots of momentium. I was there a couple of weeks ago and got stuck on the beach for an hour or so all because I stop to check out a fishing spot.
