HI,
I HAVE AN 03 NM PAJERO THAT HAS HARSH RIDING
SUSPENSION. I AM WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS HAD EXPERIENCE TRYING TO IMPROVE THE RIDE QUALITY ON THEIR CAR. I UNDERSTAND THE CURRENT PAJERO USES THE SAME
SUSPENSION COMPONENTS AS
MINE. I HAVE SPOKEN TO PEDDERS, BUT THEY WERE UNABLE TO OFFER ANY MODIFICATION. A HARSH RIDE IN TOWN IS ONE THING, BUT ON ROUGH ROADS, I COULD IMAGE THE SUSPENSION/BODY TAKING A HAMMERING. ANY CLUES.
REGARDS BARRY

Hi Barry, First of all a "Heads up" typing in capitals means you are yelling so if you don't wish to offend...lower case is the go. I had a NP & now own a NT. Because of where I go & what I do I change my
suspension set up. Both vehicles never rode rough however it could be doing so due to tyre pressure & tyre compound. You mention you asked advice from a
suspension place & they were unable to help. Personally I would go to 4WD w/
shop who specialise in setting up,servicing & generally are making 4WD's their business like ARB,TJM etc....I had Koni adjustables (shockers) & King springs on my NP the rear springs were load sharing or progressive type. The NT has full Old Man Emu from ARB....both vehicles were lifted 50mm. If you go this way make sure ALL wheels are balanced & aligned otherwise you'll scrub tyres. Every 5000km I have my tyres rotated & although the w/
shop insist on 40psi I put 44 in because it prevents the edges scrubbing on the tyres. You will get great advice from this
forum from people who have "Been there done that" so don't be afraid to ask just like you have. Are you a member of a 4WD club? Always a good learning experience. Find a reputable w/
shop in your state & follow their advice. Stick with the companies that are 4WD only not "We fix everything"
places, especially if the owner & employees have fourbys too. Good luck. Monty
