Hi Everyone
Just after some
information regarding where people store their outboard motors while traveling around Australia. I have just purchased a roof top tinnie and im looking to buy 15HP outboard motor your
feedback would be welcomed. i have a 100 series Landcruiser.

We have a Rodeo Dual Cab. The 15 HP Merc is the first thing to go in. it sits across
the tub behind the front seats. I secure it with webbing straps to the strong points. I have a couple of thick lumps of wood which I wrap in spud bags and put these under the head of the motor to keep the head higher than the prop so that oil canot drain from the bottom of the motor to the top. A Navy Diver mate of
mine said that it is very important that oil not transfer from the bottom of the motor to the top. Hope this is of some help
