Help!!
I've bought Mobile PC disc from that Epay seller. All good as far as loading and recognising the GPS receiver...but, it doesn't show any maps??
It seems a few here have this software, so how did you go, what am I doing wrong?
I don't seem to be able to register at Garmin either...discontinued??, though maybe I don't have to anyway.
Any help appreciated.

Garmin Mobile PC was never released in Australia.

We obtained a copy through Garmin Australia to try.

You have to by Garmin maps to make it work and the reason why you can't register it is it might be a pirated copy.... any thing is possible from Ebay.

Like most things of Ebay local distributors and re sellers will offer little or no support.

Well, funnily enough the seller has been excellent (in this case, but I know where your coming from here!)
I've annoyed them a couple of times about the installation already, but thought I'd try here before annoying them again.lol as this software was suggested in a previous thread, but it's now been archived (which is a pain BTW) so I've had to start a new thread.
Anyway to cut a long story short, the seller has been in touch and got me on the straight and narrow once more....which basically involved me placing files neatly in a folder, when I shouldn't have.....and I can see maps!
The old thread also suggested updating at Garmin, but I'm having trouble with this as you have to chose the product from a drop down list, in which I can't find Mobile PC anywhere, either Garmin Oz or International?
So any advice here would also be great.

I bought MobilePC from the USA in late 2009 (with the 20x GPS, came bundled with North American maps) and then bought the Garmin Australian maps from the local Johnny Appleseed shop and it has been working fine.
I did have to register all the bits through the Garmin web site to get it working.
