Cub drifter pop up camper

Hi all,
I'm very new here.
I have just bought a cub drifter camper. The roof goes up and the beds come each end.
Im planning a trip around AUS, sticking mainly to main road and going off doing some site seeing at the major/well known attraction and hope to keep off-road to a min. I'm wondering if the cub is up to it. I bought it with a bit of excitement and may of gone in blind, the draw bar is on made out of angle and the outside is rolled and folded tin. I worried the draw-bar is not up to it? I bought it cause the weight is low and I wanted to stop my fuel economy going out the window, so I would like to keep the weight down.

If anyone has done a trip around AUS or any camping with a bit of dirt roads and corrugations towing a cub drifter like mine, How did it go? Any damage or breakages? Any mods worth doing?

Any help would be appreciated, as at the moment I'm a bit disappointed with myself.
