Image Could Not Be FoundHi All,

I have just returned from a 2 week "Corner Crawl" trip with the 4WD Club of which I am a member. The "Corner Crawl" trip was designed to take us to Camerons Corner, Haddon Corner & Poeppel Corner. Whilst we were 1 week too early to make it through to Poeppel Corner as Eyre Creek was still impassable, we did reach the other 2.

The trip that we did can be seen on my trek notes connected to my profile. It was an awesome trip that took in the Strzelecki Track, Birdsville Track & the start of the Oodnadatta Track. The Simpson in flood, the Cooper Creek ferry & water in Lake Eyre were all special experiences that don,t come about every day.

5866km's in 12 days, 8 cars & a fantastic group of people. A trip that I will remember for a long time. And I did it all in a Nissan X-trail! For all you non-beleivers, the photo below shows me on the roof of my car at the top of Big Red!

If you get the chance to go out - take it! Our gorgeous country has such a diverse range of terrain, experiences & landscapes - we certainly live in the "lucky Country"

Happy Travels!

Well done Jo

Yes, I have done the same trip, plus the Cape, Googs track & Vic high country.

Amazing where our Xtrail's can go for a Soft Roader.

Well done! Can't find your trek notes however. I'm interested in where you went as I'm starting to think of a trip out to White Cliffs, Sturt National Park and the corners.

Its good to see you getting out and about with X-Trail

I had the calling to do the Cooper Creek Ferry so completed a similar trip as yous just more compressed. :-)

I agree with you, if you haven't had the opportunity to get out there this year and experience the Big Sky Country or the increased wildlife (both good and bad) the green deserts or the flooded dunes, then pack your vehicle!
