Hi desert travellers. Am on my way; currently at
Norseman.
Are these two tracks relatively open pls, or should I think about bringing some Scratchpro?
Cheers.

Travelled them both solo about 6 weeks ago. Both badly corrugated at the northern ends, otherwise rocky, stony and overgrown in
places. Many washouts also but having said all that, they are both quite trafficable and could almost be done in 2WD. watch your tyre pressures and be on the ball at all times and ready for everchanging conditions as this track can be damaging to vehicles. The road is graded and maintained for a couple of hundred k's south of
Neale Junction.
A very isolated and lonely journey; I travelled from Cocklebiddy on the Eyre Highway to
Warburton via
Rawlinna and the Connie Sue in 3 days and two nights and apart from a Roo shooter, A station owner and a
grader driver, I did not see one fellow traveller. I did the Sandy Blight track in a couple of hours of one afternoon and another fulll day and met one vehicle only. Much stunning scenery and some very nice driving...a beautiful trip but rough and one for the true remote travel buffs.

Hi Tony.
I'm on a crappy BB conn. in
Broken Hill, but at least I'm in range.
Many thanks; that's great info. I expect that it's very lonely. Have HF, epirb, and satphone, so will be able to let everyone know if it all goes pear shaped :-)
Cheers.
