Hi

Has anyone come across an effective anti-theft alarm for a camper trailer? I have seen the CUDA - it appears to be the only one available - and it looks rugged. Anyone got one? If so, is it as good as it looks?

[I don't sell, market, manufacture them or have any other connection with them whatsoever]

Happy days
George

A fold up chair . Left one at the door way of our camper for over 10 years of traveling , never had a problem.

As stupid as it may sound, if you injure a burglar, thief, crook etc etc then they can sue you for personal injuries. PC gone mad.

Booby traps in your own house or c'van, ct can cause more problems than its worth, legal accessories are the go, barb-wire, wheel clamps, chains, guard dog, they are visual and if thief still attempts and gets injured you are not liable,(dog bites) (barb cuts)

The gismo for electric fences are OK as long as the wire is visable and a warning sign attatched, this you can see where farmers attatch the signs every 50-100 mts along the fence wire,to keep out the mushie gatherers and wood-pickers and to keep the animals in, notice the sign faces humans and not the animals.

Should a thief die from some kind of booby trap or electricity, the family of deceased can proceed for damages irregardless of what the deceased was doing there in the first place, PC gone mad.

Remember the hotel manager who caught two burglars stealing his stock, went at them with a baseball bat, ended up he was charged for unnecessary force in apprehending assailants and was sued for hundreds of thousands $$$$$ for injuries, you can only use a bat for self defense only after the thieves attack you first, PC gone mad

screamers

mate get a couple of these bad boys, at 120 db they scare the crap out of you and have theives running for cover, plus have all the dog's in the neighbourhood barking so someone will see the perp's....

i use them on my shed, stick in a hard to get to place only where you know so you can turn it off quick like and you should be good.

with caught ones you can only ask them to sit down while they wait for the police, so what you do is tel the cop's that you asked them to sit down and they attacked you so you hit them, being more than one on one you can use a little bit more force to subdue/ render inactive/ disable without to much force to prevent the thieves hurting or harming you...

when i was doing martial arts we were taught to defend with equal force, if they esculate there efforts then you do on par, but never exceed. i.e. putting an arm bar on them instead of kicking the living crap out of them...
