Hi folks,

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of where I might purchase a large gullwing fridge box to add to the drawer bar of my camper? I'm in Victoria, and the camper is a Pod trailer but ant such box should fit as I've extended the drawerbar considerably.

Thanks

I realise you are in Victoria, so this may not help.

Pioneer Camper Trailers in Perth will sell a gullwing storage box separately. Not cheap though, about $2K.

Thanks Cozzie. I had already seen the Pioneer site but didn't know they would retail the box ... a bit too expensive for my budget. Thanks for the advice though.

Well, that is interesting about Pioneer being sold to a company in Victoria.

There's no indication on the website as to whether they will move over there or not, and I can't see a factory address on it.

From my experience with 2 Pioneer Campers, there was certainly room for improvement (this was a few years ago). If they use Australian Off Road Campers as a yardstick they should benefit.

Try hereXtrail scroll down to stainless steel products.
Its a .PDF file so I cant post it directly on here.

They make a SS Gull Wing box along with their kitchens and water tanks etc.

No affiliation other than I have one of their kitchens in my camper trailer.

Thanks again John. I'll email XTrail and get a price. It certainly is about the right dimensions - I was hoping to get it in alumimium but I'll check out the weight of the SS. Thanks, Dave O

Hi,
I am just having an HJ47 prepared in Brisbane for a trip, and have just bought 2 gullwing boxes, one of which easily fits a 50lt waeco fridge. Prices and quality excellent, worth a look,
I am from the UK, so have had to do lots of web surfing, before I arrive in a couple of weeks.

Cheers,
Tony.

Hi Dave,

I got 2 of the TR022, 3/4 gull wing, 1500Lx800Hx500D, plenty of space and the waeco lid can fully open with the 800 high. Guess the 1200 would fit ok.

Also got a TR042 1500 chest.

Excellent value for money, the guys who are doing my truck are now recommending them.

Hope you get sorted.

Cheers,
Tony.
