I am looking for a 40' bunkhouse toy hauler and tow vehicle but they dont seem to come on the market too often. Can someone point me in the right direction. I really like the Heartland (American made) cyclone but i think its too wide for aussie roads.
I am hoping to get some experienced feed back from people who know about these vehicles and if it is even possible to have one imported from O/S and converted to comply with aussie standards.
Appreciate the feed back.
And by the way... HAPPY NEW YEAR :-)
Cheers Lee

You might like to get in touch with this fellow, who handles other Heartland 5th wheelers into Aus. Also handles tow vehicles:
This site
No association, etc., but have been told he is very helpful.

Sounds impressive..especially with the right toys on board. I would have loved a quad or dirt bike on our trip around the block. We traveled in tandem at times with a friend who had a 33ft Cruiser 5th wheeler and F250 tug. His problem was finding caravan parks with enough space for his rig. Several times our 20ft van was able to be accommodated but he had to
bush camp or continue on to another motor
camp.
More camps are starting to cater for 5th wheelers with their slide outs and different site requirements....however with that size rig you will strike problems.
p.s. look out for low bridges and overpasses!

This does seem to be the problem with large fifth wheelers as your not the first to mention that a lot of caravan parks wont let them in.
Thanks for the advice about bridges..
