Happy New Years to all, Was just wondering if anyone has driven up the beach at Bribie in the past couple of days? just after a condition report after the large swells that hit the coast over xmas. Was planning to head up tomorrow morning for the day.

Hi Dave ,Happy new year .
I drove along Bribie beaches on Sunday 1st from Woorum to the searchlight
bunker no problems except between the fort and seachlight there is a lot of tree branches that have been washed onto the beach but it is still passable. 2hr either side of low tide.
From the beach to Whitepatch inland route there is heaps of dry soft sand near the pine plantations so some recovery gear might be the order of the day.
Otherwise the beach run was great.
