Hi All,

Just wanted to see if anyone has any suggestions for the stock standard Goldstream bed end fly's. The actual bag and the 3 straps that hold the cover in place when traveling knock against the roof in strong winds when setup. I've tried zipping up the bag as much as possible however the wind eventually unzips the zipper and the cover again flaps against the roof.

Regards
Jeff

Hi Jeff,

We've had that happen on a few very windy nights and zipped it up so the zipper went around the bend and it stayed there. Since that worked for us we didn't have to investigate any further remedy, however I can understand your desire to stop it, very annoying when you're trying to go to sleep!

Cheers, Nige

Hi Jeff, We have a Goldstream Storm and this year we had a very windy holiday. In the past we have thrown a rope over the fly bags and tied the flaps down but this year the wind persisted. We ended up threading a rope through the eyelets of the straps and tied it either side. That stopped the straps and the flap hitting the roof of the van. We will probably so that as a matter of course in future to save getting up on a windy night and trying to do it in the dark!!!!!
Hope that is helpfu
Di
