G'day there
Would appreciate any info anyone might have on the current condition of the track to Dalhousie from Alice through Rodinga - Finke - New Crown - Charlotte Waters - Mount Dare - Blood Creek - Dalhousie.

Thanks
Poitr

Dusty, corrugated and rough in a few places but generally in OK condition. Holiday periods it will be quite corrugated up the northern end with all the tourists heading out to Chambers from The Alice. It was great coming up from Dalhousie to Finke in the July/August.

Weather will have it's influences as will the Finke Desert race over the June long weekend. Ring Dalhousie before you leave to ascertain conditions and whether the grader has been through.

Cheers Mick

Thanks Mick. Realise this all depends on the weather and traffic, but in general is it any worse than the track from Titjikala to Chambers P?

Poitr,

Check out the road conditions report on this site or call Mt Dare direct, no point calling Dalhousie rangers as they arn't always there or near a phone if they are!

At the moment all roads are passable with water damage in sections.
