Hi all, has anyone been down to Wright's bridge lately? Apparently a fire went a few years ago and it looked a bit ordinary then. Wondering how it is now? I am looking for a pace to shoot down for a couple of nights this weekend. Other option was Alexandra bridge but we have visited there a couple of times already.
thanks, doc.

I presume you mean near Bridgetown/Nanup? Was a nice camp spot. Have you tried Greens Island, in-between Bridgetown and Manjimup, on the Donnelly River. Clean long drop. Fresh water. Fire pits. Firewood provided. Great free camping. Dogs allowed.

I know W bridge wasn't open 6 months ago but you might want to check with the Nannup Shire

Thanks Evelyn, I had never heard of Green island. Did a quick check on 'places' and is was given a good rating however sounds like more suited to tents than our camper trailer. Other half seems keen to go to Alexandra bridge this weekend so I think we will have to set up there(I was hoping for somewhere new) but maybe go fo a drive and check out Green Island and any other nearby camping opportunities for future opportunities. Does sound like Wrights bridge still closed. thanks again. doc.

It's perfect for camper vans. We've taken our Jayco expander and I've seen Coaster busses, pop tops and all sorts there. It only has about 10-13 sites and there around a green oval (sometimes brown). And there's a good distance between sites. Donnelly River is nice to stop at too. Kangaroos and emues eating out of your hand. It's a gravel track from there to G I, but very well maintained. Ev Deffinately worth a visit.
