Does anyone know of caravan storage around the Brisbane/Toowoomba area. We have a 21" Kedron Top Ender and would like it undercover if possible. Cheers

We used Mr Caravan at Pimpama. He has a vast storage area under cover (shadecloth) as well as open air. Don't forget to take out your batteries. Solar under shadecloth didn't put enough charge into ours.

Hi there. We live in Toowoomba and have had our caravan stored with Eastern Downs Storage at Clifton for a couple of years. They have excellent facilities, including dump point, powered sites and amenities for people to use when picking up or dropping off their vans. They can also do repairs and maintenance on vans. Their number is 46123755, Karen or Vaughan. I can highly recommend their service.

I am not sure if this direction from Brisbane suits you but Mr Caravan Storage, Old Wharf Road near Pimpama does a good job. It is about 40 mins from Brisbane by the freeway to the Gold Coast. Very efficient, clean and tidy, resident caretaker, well off the road so quite secure. Access 24/7 with a phone call. Some sites are roofed but most have heavy hail proof shadecloth type roofing so vans stay shaded but solar panels keep charging the batteries. The land is not flood prone! We have found it worth while for hassle free storage in a clean environment. Van or boat storage is hard to find around Brisbane! You might have more luck in Toowomba. One trick we found out about is that unless you have your van in a registered storage facility you are not covered by insurance according to our insurer eg leaving it in a friend's backyard or a paddock will not generally be accepted. This could be something for you to check. Good luck. Lynne

Thanks John & Lynne for the tip regarding the insurance. I wouldn't have thought of it otherwise.

Thanks for the replies. We have decided to go with Eastern Downs Storage at Clifton. They can fit our large van in no worries at all, completely undercover.
