Hi there, is there a water, dustproof vent for camper trailers. Does anyone know the Flettner rotary air vent, or is there something better or cheaper. Has anyone made their own vent.

Hi Bill
Have just covered inside of vents with air-conditioning filter, yet to test it. Aircon' installer said it should help, just wash it under running water, when you can.
Hope to test it in next in couple of months.

Thanks for that, I can build it myself just thought there may be something off the shelf to buy.

Have you put any thought to an air filter from a wreckers?
Some of them don't look too bad, have replacable filters, and would stop a fair bit of dust or water. I was planning to fit one like a snorkel so it could be swivelled up to a higher position to avoid the towing vehicle dust. or lowered down in height retricted areas and storage.
Cheers
I'll get there someday, or die wanting to.
