G'day HB, I towed my offroader thu last september and I would only recommend it to a good offroader , no deep sand but large potholes and some corrugations. Anyway the wet's probably ruined it. There was no bitumin between the James Price turnoff and just south of
Beagle Bay t/o. The
Broome police will give you the latest info.

Mate we went up there about 2 years ago and the road was one of the worse for corrugations.

People do take caravans/etc up there but I wouldn't. When we drove up there in 2010 without anything in tow I should have bought a mouth guard to prevent my teeth from chattering in the corrugations. Worst I've ever seen or hope to see. It make the road from
Beagle Bay to
Cape Leveque seem like a floating on air.

Hi Chris, if you're planning to go all the way up to Kooljaman at
Cape Leveque, you'd best ring and
check if they take caravans now, as last year they didn't allow anyone with a caravan, regardless of whether you could actually get it there or not. Something to do with their limited power supply.
Cheers
Karen
