I drive a suzuki sx4. Not a bad little vehicle for what I do, although a bit more ground clearance certainly wouldn't hurt.
Anyway, the missus has been after me for a while now to get a spare wheel (or two) for emergencies. When getting back to where ever there are mechanics I'd get the original fixed. I thought I’d be able to just buy a used wheel\tyre and use them.
However a certain company is telling me I need to get another set of alloys at a price of neary $400 per wheel plus tyre.
Surely that can’t be right? I can’t see how using normal wheel for 150 – 200K’s could hurt? Or am I completely wrong?

Is your factory spare a spacesaver or a full size?

I have used a tyre plug kit and an air compressor with great success.

If you search hard enough you should be able to find a steel rim and tyre in your size.

It's a space saver.

Gordon.
From memory Falcon wheels and 4x2 hilux wheels fit the zuk. as long as the outside diameter is the same as the original it won't hurt for short distances. Eric
