Wondered if anyone has experience with canopies from Sports 4 x 4. I want to put one on my new BT 50 and this is the only place I can find that has one available. ARB say they will have one - but when ? What is the quality of Sports 4 x 4 products - they tell me the canopies are made in Thailand. I want to mount a roof rack on it but not to carry too much weight. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi Upo, I don't have any experience with the Sport 4x4 but I bought a EGR canopy for my 2011 Ford Ranger through the local ford dealership. they are made in Queensland and can be coloured matched to your vehicles colour. It cost about $3320 shipped and fitted by Ford that includes the optional lift up side windows. they are a modern design and come standard with sliding windows and dark tint. They supply a roof rack system for under $600 minus fitting and that will carry 100 kilos. Check out their website egrauto.com I hope this helps, it's just another option...all the best cheers.

Thanks dave w. I have tried EGR and they don't plan on doing one for the latest Ranger / BT 50 Extra Cab - just the dual cab. Son-in-law has an EGR on his Triton and reckons it's pretty good. Cheers
