Hi everyone,
We are heading off for about 9 weeks from Sunbury Victoria, up through the centre to Darwin then across to the East coast and back home. We are camping with our old faithful Southern Cross tent and am thinking about fitting a Drifta kitchen to our trailer.

Any thoughts on these kitchens or better alternatives greatly appreciated.

Cheers & Beers

Everyone I know who has one, have only good things to say about them. My parents have a slide out kitchen on thier trailer, very well made and easy to use.

Made in Gloucester, they have a good reputation for quality.

Had a L shape Drifter fitted early last year and it is fantastic, plenty of room and sets up in 2 mins.

Thanks Scott & Miandering for the quick and positive response. This is the last major item that we need to complete our fit out so will order in the next couple of weeks as.

Seen Scotts folks kitchen and it is easy for them to use.
Was impressed enough to get them to fit out our work vans with drawers and shelves. Very happy with the result.
They are so easy to deal with, great to see a company staying in Aus and doing well.
Cheers

G'day,
We have a TrakShak kitchen in our trailer - which has plastic tubs for storage. I saw on another website a Drifta drawer insert in to our type of kitchen replacing the plastic tubs, and emailed Drifta about having one made.
Their responses were fast, accurate and friendly. We bought the drawer insert which is light, strong and very user friendly.
Our only regret is we didn't get Drifta to make the whole kitchen!
Highly recommended, no association other than happy customer.
Cheers

Thanks for the feedback Coprrugate
Good to know that the bloke (AKA Rob) is onto the right track. I've sat back and let him to all the hard work in regards to the camping side of things but I did insist on a kitchen. I'm more into the planning things you know women and their endless lists!
thanks again.

I instrall Drifta product to my GT Campers - it is terrific stuff and has passed all my quality and durability tests that I apply to my product. Very happy to recommend. Luke (Drifta) has worked hard to mnake his product useful and fuss-free. He has recently updated his designs, too

just road-tested my new Drifta set-up in the High Country and really pleased with it. First time for this type of thing having previously done a home-made job. Find the drop-down fridge slide a bit heavy and stiff in operation but the brochure reckons it will loosen up with use. Good to deal with and I really like the Teflon(?) sliders which are very simple and rattle-free. They do an integrated table which slides in/out perfectly and is solid and so easy to use as a stand alone table or leave in as a slide-out table. We find that so much more convenient than expected and frees up more space elsewhere. Very happy.

Thanks everyone for your replies.
Ordered our kitchen today. We decided on the DPOS so we can take it out of the trailer if required.

Cheers

Received the Kitchen yesterday, well packed and arrived on time. Took 3 minutes to set up the first time. Very happy with construction, size and ease of use.
Well done Drifta..
