Hi There
Only new to this
forum and hoping that someone can advise me. I have a 2007 Avan Jayde MkII which has double glazed push out windows.
In recent heavy rain the cavity has about an inch of water in them (two drivers side windows). I have found where the water has gotten in, which is pretty easy to fix. My dilema is how do I get the water out of the cavity???
Thinking of drilling two small holes in the outside side of the window at the bottom........
Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks

Wil7316 - If you've found where the water is getting in, why can't you remove the window and invert it, and just tip the water out, via the entry holes?
If window removal isn't possible, I'd be placing a bar heater in close proximity to the window, on the underside, so the water is heated and evaporates out the entry point holes.
Water evaporates slowly at any temperature above 0°C in low humidity, but generally commences visibly faster evaporation at around 20-25°C. You should be able to heat the window to an even 40-45°C easily without sustaining damage to it.
Cheers - Ron.
