Are there any plans to create an iOS (iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch) app for this site?

Writing an application is a different skill set to writing a web site. The best you can probably hope for is a mobile version of the site optimized for small screen. A lot of work....

Sounds like you have done it before!
Yes and yes I am working on optimised version plus a few specific apps for various functions of the system. A hell of a lot of work and when running on really small screens you just lose so much.

The iPad safari works great so there is no really no real need to do much to support the iPad using the browser. The iPad will pick up any development that is done for the iPhone but these will be specific apps for various functions and not the whole site.
Then I am also looking at the Andriod platforms as
well to app support this also. The main problem is there is just so much work involved but we are actively working on it.
