Review: Roads & Tracks (WA) - Spiral Bound

Delivery was quick although the usual frustration of having a signature required that means an unnecessary trip to the Post Office. The book is well produced and well suited to carry in the car as a ready reference with the spiral binding making it easy to use. However, I am disappointed with the book as the scale of most maps is too large and "tracks" are not shown or inaccurate. I would also question the date of the information in the book. I visited Kalgoorlie last year and much has changed, some of the information is misleading, for example the road east of Kanowna Belle to Kalpini is shown as a minor unsealed road that is in fact an abandoned washed out track suitable for 4WD only. The better road is the Kurnaplpi Pinjin road and a connecting haul road open to the public but not shown at all in the book but is clear on the 2010 Google Earth and is marked on my 2008 Natmaps. Time to do a major update me thinks.
