Just wondering what the difference was between what Steve Urwin did with his son and what we all do by putting our children in cars - I think the road toll and stats involving car accidents would out way the the probability of being eaten by a crocodile. Does this mean we dont put our kids in the car anymore without being called bad parents.

Good on Steve for encouraging his kids at an ealy age to enjoy life and its creatures.

I agree - the guy would not put his kids in danger - he would put himself in the way first.

Just wait till our kids get to the teenage years and their mates turn up with a hotted up buzz box of a car !!! Then mix grog and peer pressure - a recipe for disaster.Cheers, Beddo

Croc's

They dont drink in my Pub's so I dont swim in there water. Pretty simple. I am not sure if what Steve did is right or wrong. Each to their own I suppose.

Andy, why don't you give him one of your children to dangle above crocodile if it is that safe? Bottom line mate, his behaviour was reckless and iresponsible. He is probably a good dad who loves his children same as anyone of us, but he did a STUPID thing. Bigest problem is he doesn't see anything wrong with it. As for your coments and general logic you use to make this comparesment i think you need to have your head examined.

Refer to post 9504 in this forum. Plenty of discussion there already. Im sure david could do without another 72 replies. Try some of your own material Aandy next time, no need to start this all over again.
