Hello all,
I just got back from another trip and I have to say "what have I done".

I checked my email and it was full of arguments from fellow 4b'ers. It was a fair question i asked in relation to cooling systems, but it is very dissapointing to see that there are always some that love to take the "mickey" out of oposing car manufacturers.

I want to state here and now, I am NOT interested in who owns what. I am sure that whatever one chooses to own, they have a reason for choosing it. I have a high respect for ALL senseable 4wheelers out there no matter what they drive. I would help anyone in need at any time without hesitation. Its just very sad to read some of the silly comments that are posted in here. But, I guess nomatter where you are, there are always the clowns.

I have been working on some ideas in relation to Turbo GQ's getting hot and in the next few weeks i will be experimenting on mine. I think that I will find a very good cure for it soon, depending on how busy work gets. Stay tuned...after this trip i just did in scorching hot temps my car ran increadably cool (Max temp reached on gauge was HALF) even pushed it to the limit with trailer this time, climbing hills at 110 - 120 kms/ hour just to see if stage 1 worked and it did.

Please dont tell me i was speeding ok.....i know i was, but i did it with as much caution as possible at the time.

Cheers to you all
Regards AngeloI love it when you talk DIRTY !

I, for one, will be keen to see how you go. My Toyota runs warm, and so do a few GQs in the club.

Good on you Angelo. It sounds like you've achieved a big improvement in the cooling. There will be a lot of people who have similar problems to what you had with your vehicle who will be keen to hear what you've done.

If one of the stages is lifting the rear of the bonnet dont... in a large front end accident it will come thru windscreen and take your head off... There were fotos around ages ago of a similar thing happening in USA.

so what is stage 1...?

I think that Angelo outlined stage 1 in a previous post. Good point about the bonnet raising danger truckster. That's the sort of situation that puts me off doing mods to a vehicle. Changing one aspect can impinge on other things without being immediately obvious. This also applies to suspension mods and tank mods unless they're done by experts who have fully researched and developed their product.

Don't always fit detractors Brian as I've heard that they can lead to burnt valves.
