Garmin have switched to Navteq maps on their new models. There is some conjecture as to how long their lifetime updates to Sensis maps will last.
There is also some debate on which mapset is more accurate. Has anyone used a GPS with Navteq maps and how accurate are they, particularly with respect to showing roads where in fact they do not exist and using these 'roads' when calculating a route.

Lifetime update is a lifetime update isnt it? Garmin use these heavily around the world as a clever marketing edge, it would be somewhat of a disaster for them, I conject, should they change their tune
