Hi Broodie, if you look at the bottom of the box you type your thread/reply in there are some blue boxes. Click on the Insert image box it will tell you to browse to where the photos are filed. you will need to resize the photos to the size indicated in the pop-up box. There is also a title line which is what you want to call the photo. Let it load then press submit.
I'm going from memory here and not talking myself throughthe procedure.
If you have them stored on an external website such as Flikka or Picassa, Phot Bucket etc then use the Insert link function via a Hyper link.

They re-size automatically now, David fixed that issue to make it simpler.

Broodie,
I've Googled "padlocked files" and it is obviously a problem for many users of windows 7. If you are using windows 7, suggest have a look at
this site or any of the other links that a google search brings up. I'm not especially computer literate so can't help directly and I find for this sort of incomprehensible behaviour there are often answers out there (or at least fellow sufferers!) This is
another link that looks useful. Note that these relate to windows7 and only windows7 systems.
From what I've read, this is a widespread annoyance arising from erratic file locking for security reasons. If you can't make sense of it (and I know that feeling
well!), maybe it's time to find a tech-savvy teenager to help!
Cheers

Broodie : Do you get update's regularly ? what type of internet service do you have ... wireless , ADSL , satellite ....do you know your speed ?
you'd think the lock may be your security settings .......
I have been using google chrome and that makes a big difference with explorOZ site, lot faster .
what also helps but not necessary is to ... make copy ,double click on
pic > file > make copy ,right click on new
pic >open with > Microsoft office picture manager > picture >resize > large web 640 x480 px ... then up load......
cheers nick

Hi Broodie,
How long to experience the CSR? We didn't do the full length, just from the northern end down a couple of days beyond the Talawana Track, then turned round and went back to
Georgia Bore and west from there to replace a rear spring.
Details here.
Some try to "do" the Canning in a week. Some say it can be done quicker than that. In our view there's little point in rushing such a trip - it costs a lot of fuel, depreciation, possibly/probably a tyre or two, etc and if you stop to explore and actually experience rather than just "do" it should take close to 2 weeks rather than one. Stopping to examine the detail is what makes this sort of trip so special.
BTW this is not a trip to undertake with a single vehicle. A capable companion vehicle can save a lot of shovel work, as
well as providing a measure of safety. Towing a trailer isn't impossible, but any off-road trailer that would survive the trip is going to be pretty heavy and an annoying anchor on the dunes. Not trying to put you off - its a great trip and I'm sure that you will enjoy it.
Cheers

Hi Nick we get all the usual updates, as the busiest girl in town needs her Computers up with the latest gizmo's going around, so every time a new update comes in it is automatically loaded on, and we seem to be replacing the computers about every three or for years, depending on what is required for her line of work, and what new software is out there that she needs to stay competitive, it's all part of life now days.thanks for the input. We now have success.

I should also mention that at times, more often than less, ExplorOz is very slow to update
It may well time out on you.
I don't care, as it's a ripper site, so be patient, and follow the instructions given.
Cheers again

Thanks every one for your help, in the end I have had to call out the tech spert, because even the guru of our house hold gave up at midnight last night after going into websites and following all instructions, as given on here with no success, we may have a bug in the system that wont let us load in case we corrupt the site we are trying to load to. that's what the tech spert reckons any way. once again thank you all for you input.
