May as well test a Word Document as the new system can do this as well as images.

Ok folks the new controls have been tested and appear to be working.

Enjoy and please members, do not upload more than is required. If you are wanting more of a photo gallery function then please use the Blogs system as it has a Gallery View function.

If you are not a member then you can only link to images and files rather than publish them on ExplorOz.

This is clever but the one thing that is lacking is an EDIT function for posts. A quote function would be welcome as well......any chance ?

Wicket,
Edit is a sticky one. As we send emails on submission and someone could write something really defamatory (have it emailed out) then retract is via edit. This is one of the many issues that face us in providing Edit - the program logic is easy the business logic is not as easy.

Quote - I can do that what are you thinking? Should it just be a pop-up thing and you dump the text in and the system formats it as a quote. I would use the BBCODE specific tags of [quote]Blah Blah[/quote]. Does this seem right (you would copy and paste the quote text around)?
