Hi peoples,
Just in case anyone was wondering why Mick O has been absent from the
forum of late I thought I should post an update of his meanderings.,
Mick O, and a couple of ExplorOz friends (Ozhumvee, JDub and Alan K (Qld) are in Canada enjoying the hospitality of some Canadian friends, Scott and Gaby.
Part of their odyssey into the ‘Wilds of Canada’ includes a river trip currently they are paddling fiercely up the Yukon River and expect to reach Carmacks sometime today. They paddled 68km in 6hours yesterday;((
A far cry from the Desert travel they are used to but I am sure plenty of
blogs and pictures will follow.

Sounds like a fantastic trip...Did he take his Gold pan with him...lol

Dunno about a gold pan RS, probably more concerned whether the floaties were a good fit and the possibility of BIG bears during the overnights on the river bank;)))
