Rob,

The Feb2004 4WD Monthly magazine has a driving lights comparo. The Lightforce 240XGT's beat the pants off everything especially for long range, but they were not as good as some others for sideways spread.

It depends a bit on what you intend to be doing out in the dark highways, roads or tracks.

Then in the months later mag, Something else will win, followed by a 2 page spread of ads...

They are good, seen em, but not worth that much more than 240s/

try www.multispares.com.au.. I got 18 sets of 240's off them... got a good price on them too :)

Robert

try Eric Chrisotpher, a ExplorOz site member. He's good, helpful.

I found side lighting was average with standard covers, so if you want to get spread, buy a combo lens cover, & wind the light in & out - trial & error. I just did mine at new years time. The pair of lights now works a beauty for distance down the road & side vision for the hoppers...ya never hit the first one, do ya?
