Back in 2009 when we explored the Burrup Peninsular we stopped at
Hearson Cove for lunch. A magnificent spot but the tables in the shelter sheds were filthy - we had to put a tarp over the table to use it. It is such a pity that some people do not respect property.
A short distance from the water's edge is an
aboriginal art site with many, many fine examples of petroglyphs. Apparently there are thousands and thousands of such petroglyphs on the Burrup Peninsular.
