As a novice 4wd driver, I found the book to be really good & helpful in many areas.
It was the only book I could find that gave me some basic expectations & hints how to handle certain situations.
I guess on the negative, I thought the book was a bit dated, with some of the details & photo's, e.g. It didn't mention maxitrack type devices at all, which I think are fairly new?
But I would recommend the book as a good read, to all.
