Bloomfield & CREB tracks ..... any up-dated advice ???

Looking at travelling via the CREB and Bloomfield tracks, we are staying with some friends that live on a block on the Bloomfield river and will go to the top from there if possible and weather permitting, we are well aware of the weather implications and will be tracking that carefully but that aside and all searches on here done i am after any current info on the roads .......
Again many thanks in advance

HI Joe & Mel,

We did that trip in July. We left our caravan at Daintree and did a day trip up the coast to Cooktown via Creb and Bloomfield tracks. Came back inland via Lakelands and Mt Molloy. A big day but a really enjoyable one.
We found the tracks quite good although corrugated and rough in places and minimal water in the crossings. As you probably know some parts are very steep but most of these are concreted. We stopped at Emmagen Creek for morning tea...a lovely spot.
Are you going to be towing anything...thats a different story although we did pass a guy towing a poptop with a 4x4 Ford F250.
Saw crocodiles in the Bloomfield River just below the falls.
Just drive to road conditions.
Cheers
