G'day all
The steering knuckles look really dry as a bone on my 94 Patrol GQ, I was a bit shocked to find (from the Nissan w/
shop manual) that I have to strip the bloody things down to repack them - no nipples :-(
Anyone know of an alternative method of greasing the knuckle joints ?

I made up a grease nipple which fits into the end of the grease gun, then from the nipple have a small (TINY) copper tube joined to it, which i can fit under the rubber boot of the tie rod without removing the whole thing.

In days gone by used to drill a small hole in the base of the knuckle, tap a thread and screw in a grease nipple.
