There are a few grey imports with 24 volt electrical systems. Is there any one who can provide any first hand experience on converting these back to 12 volt. Eric.

Why would you need to convert it, there are plenty of trucks around which are 24v

Yep my old Nissan Patrol SD33 was 24 volt. Doesn't mean you can't organise 12 volt accessories if necessary Eric. A whole lot simpler/safer and cheaper than trying to redo the complete vehicle.

The shorty Patrol in the 4wd Action DVD's is a 24v system and they did a segment on it not long ago. He discussed the various issues surrounding the 24v and that it took him some time to get it sorted to his satisfaction. Maybe they can help in some way or point you in the right direction?

Not sure of the benifits of converting to 12v my bus is 24v and lights fans and fridges run off 12v house batteries.
