Depending on who you talk to, or what map you have, you could see different names used for the same location. Known locally as Policemens Crossing, and marked on the NATMAP 250k map as Policeman Crossing, and other maps as Policeman's Crossing, I will leave it to you which name you choose.
This crossing, is only accessible during the dry season, and is about 27 km from the Numbulwar aboriginal community. Policemens Crossing is on the tidal Rose River, with the river being host to a wide variety of fish and other wildlife including the estuarine (salt
water) crocodile. A permit is required to enter the Numbulwar Community.
