Information

After a sinuous journey across the desert, Cooper's Creek empties into Lake Eyre. From Innamincka to the start of the inlet the 2010 flood took 109 days and in 2025 it took 107 days. Aircraft may easily fly over but for a 4WD or boat, to arrive at this location is quite a travel adventure.
