Snug is in a great central location for day trips to
Hobart, the Huon region, the Channel region,
Bruny Island. The car ferry to
Bruny Island is only a 5 minute drive.
The Snug Beach and Caravan Park overlooks North
West Bay on the D’Entrecasteaux Channel. The property has self-contained cabins, on-site vans and powered and unpowered campsites, set among landscaped gardens. The one- and two-bedroom ensuite cabins can accommodate up to six guests and have
well-equipped kitchens and a comfortable lounge area. Some of the level, grassed camping sites have beach frontage and some are drive-through. There is a
well-equipped amenities block, coin-operated laundromat, activities room and all-weather barbecue area and campers' kitchen.
A general store, beach tennis court and children’s playground are all within walking distance of the Park. You can swim, fish or launch your boat at Snug Beach, or catch the nearby ferry to
Bruny Island where you can bushwalk, take a wildlife cruise or drive to the
Cape Bruny Lighthouse. Explore the Huon and Channel Region - go sea kayaking, picnic at nearby waterfalls, sample a vintage from a local winery, or visit a Huon Valley fruit
farm.
