Gherkin and Sun Dried Tomato Damper

Dont let the name put you off, it is really delicious


  • 1 Cup of Self raising Flour
  • 1tsp Baking Powder
  • 1tbl spoon of Powdered milk.
  • 3/4 Cup of water
  • Pinch of Salt
  • Gherkin and Sun Dried tomato to taste


  • Step 1Combine all ingredients, slowly adding water to the dry ingredients.
  • Step 2Mix until a reasonably sticky dough, dont overmix or knead the dough.
  • Step 3Add the Gherkins and Sun Dried, gently stir into the mixture.
  • Step 4Bake in Camp Oven for 20 mins, or until tapping on the crust produces a hollow sound.
