The railway line opposite the pub is now closed. It was used for massive coal loads on their way to the
Port Augusta power station. These were "monster trains" of up to 3 km in length. It took 5 minutes until the entire train passed by. Now various displays show the history of the area. And an unusual sundial with holes tracing out an analemma. Place a shadow stick in the hole nearest to the date and the shadow falls on a rock with the hour marked.
