Hi All,

I am currently getting a reverse camera with a mirror screen installed.
The new mirror that come with the system from ARB doesn't fit back on the old mount, its foe a 06 100 series GXL, Has anyone had the sam problem and how did they fix it??
The installer glued the new mirror 2" below the old mount which I am at not all happy with and of course it didn't stick and fell off swinging around the cab, I have removed it but they are telling me I will need to get a new windscreen if I want it in the same position. I don't believe them!!

Hi Rooey,

I'm going thru a similar prob with my Captiva. I needed to get a hilux mount and mount it to it. I looks odd which SWMBO doesnt like.

The installer mounted it too high so she can see the roof console in the rear view mirror.

Not sure what the installer is going to do. I think they might be up for a new windscreen but im investigating a longer shaft to get the mirror lower.

Cheers Wilko

Cheers Wilko,
I thought ARB would have looked at this, they are usually pretty good, painful though!!

If you give up with that and can get a refund I bought one of these, easy 1-2 hour install, clips over existing mirror and has been brilliant.

Good luck.
