G,day to all wanting to know if anybody has had dual batters kit and under hood compresser fitted to 2012-2013 79 series landcruiser seems the ABS pluming takes up the space on drivers side mudgaurd where the compessor usually fitts and on the left hand mudgaurd where the second battery usually fits theres a bloody great wireing loom I have been told ARB are still designeing a loom extention to enable moving the loom to allow for fitment of second battery as for the compressor ? any thoughts or info would be helpfull. .

This may not be a help - I don't know how different the 76 is to the 79. But I have dual battery system and under bonnet compressor in my 2012 76. If it is relevant let me know & I can send pictures. However, if ARB are saying they're designig something for the 79 I expect they are different (I got mine done by an ARB rep)

Regards,
Vicki

Sorry Fairdingkum - I should have read you post properly! No ABS in mine - it is early 2012.

Good luck, I'm sure ARB will find a way.

Check out the LCOOL site - plenty of new Landcruiser owners have fitted dual batteries.

Cheers, Geoff
