During the Australia day weekend myself and Big Rigger managed to rack up quite afew kms in and around Yalwal and on one of the fire trails I found a number plate KEV 54B.
If you would like it back please let me know :-)

its very simple . You cannot obtain someones address or name from there number plate , you can confurn them at a road traffic authority by telling them the name and address , but its against the privecy act do be given the info up front . Not even a
police officer is alowed to do this unless they are investigating something about this person .

If you can give me the state it is registered in I should be able to get the owners details.

I'll
check it out tomorrow.
Eric, using government records for a lawful procedure to return lost property is not illegal.
If there are any NSW
Police on this
forum then they should be able to get the details and notify the owner themselves. If none are here (???) then I will try and get in touch with the owner and pass on the details of this site to him and who he should contact.
